These two gentlemen were the 2003 and 2004 champions of the main event at the World Series of Poker and they were able to get there through hard work and a little bit of luck within the online tournaments that were available as satellites into the World Series of Poker through Poker Stars, one of the best known online poker sites around.
Both Moneymaker and Raymer stayed with Poker Stars afterwards in order to promote that website and to become ambassadors for online poker and when you hear either one of them speak, it is quite obvious that they did not benefit from a rigged online gaming system. There have been cases once again in the past where poker sites have been rigged, but as online poker has become a reputable and major industry within the world, such incidents have become very rare indeed.
Myth #3: Online Poker software is nothing but spyware and adware
This myth is always a hilarious one to consider, because it is a myth that is so easy to check. A person that believes myths 1 and 2 might be forgiven for not checking them out in fear of their money being stolen by the websites, but myth 3 is easy to check simply by downloading the file into a protected area on your system and then checking to see if there is any spyware or adware present.
